About Bomleys

Property management software and a rental marketplace, built in Kenya for Kenyan landlords, agencies and tenants.

What is Bomleys?

Bomleys is property management software and a rental marketplace built for Kenya. Landlords and agencies use it to run leases, rent invoices, rent collection, maintenance, owner statements and payroll for homes, shops, offices and warehouses. Tenants use it to find a place, sign the lease, pay rent and report repairs.

Two parts make up the product. The first is the workspace a landlord or agency runs their portfolio from. The second is the public marketplace, where anyone can browse houses and apartments to let and shops, offices and warehouses to let without an account.

How does rent move on Bomleys?

Rent never passes through Bomleys. A landlord connects their own M-Pesa paybill or bank account, the tenant pays into it directly, and Bomleys matches each payment to the invoice it settles. The money belongs to the landlord the moment it lands.

Because we never hold rent, we cannot take a commission on it. Landlords and agencies pay an agreed monthly fee for the software, and that is all. The pricing page explains how that fee is worked out.

Who is Bomleys for?

Landlords with one building or many, who want invoices raised, payments matched and arrears chased without a spreadsheet.

Property agencies managing buildings for several owners, who need owner statements, staff roles, approvals and their own branded website.

Tenants and house hunters, who want verified listings, a viewing booked in a few taps, and a clear record of rent paid and deposit held.

How are listings kept honest?

Every workspace is identity-checked before a listing goes live. Each listing carries a report button, and a person works every report. A workspace that breaks the rules can be restricted or blocked, while tenants already living there keep access to their lease and payment records.
