Do you take commission on rent?
No, and we could not if we wanted to. Rent goes from the tenant straight into your own paybill — it never passes through a Bomleys account. We bill your agreed monthly fee and nothing else.

Yes, and that is deliberate. Connect your M-Pesa paybill or a KCB account and the money is yours the moment it lands. Recording payments by hand works too, if you collect cash or bank transfers.
Rent keeps arriving in your paybill, because it was never routed through us. The workspace goes read-only — your leases, receipts and statements stay exportable until you reactivate.
Yes. A building can be all flats, all shops, or a mix of both — every unit carries its own type, rent, lease and invoices on the same ledger. Commercial listings get their own Business space page, so people hunting for a shop or an office find yours without wading through bedsitters.
Browsing, saving and comparing listings is free, always. Most listings are free to act on too: you get the contact, book the viewing and apply without paying us. Only the few listings that say so need a search pass, and the price is on the pricing page.
You pay the landlord directly — M-Pesa to their own paybill, bank transfer or cash. Bomleys never holds tenant money. The payment matches itself to your invoice, so your balance and history stay right without anyone chasing anyone.
It is recorded against your lease from day one. When you give notice, the move-out settlement lists every deduction line by line against the condition report taken when you moved in, so the refund figure is arithmetic rather than an argument.
